alternator removal

looks like ive knackered my alternator after drowning it in a sticky lake at the pit.
could anybody point me in the right direction for the best route to take it out. ??

Before you strip it out give it a good jet wash and spray with wd40 it may just be the dirt in it.
If you need to strip it out then unbolt the air con pump, don't disconnect the pipes, just the four bolts holding it on. Then just move it to one side this will allow better access to the alternator. loosen of the adjuster pulley to remove the belts then unbolt the alternator.
