Lazy Rear Window.

  • Lazy Rear Window.

    It goes down but struggles on way up and stops about 3" from top. Need to give it a wee help up. Is it cureable???

    Or do i just take a motor out one of the rear side windows and swap them???

    I know theres plent of threads on this but me lazy.

    also get something in the grooves the window goes up in to to clean them out, then a silicon spray lubricant or window rubber lubricant is good to spray them up with afterwards too. And a spray on lithium white grease for the mechanism inside, spray it up once you've done the repair it's easier (read cleaner) that way round

      Nero is spot on mate!

      my rear window was sluggish and needed help for the last few inches.

      got some silicone lubricant an just rubbed it into the window runners. Sorted!

      its been fine now for several months!

        did you strip out the tailgate door card to access the window runners ? ? ?

        i was thinking about greasing up the runners too ! ! !

        is it easy to get at ? ? ?
