glow plug power

Ok when looking at my glowplugs i cant really see where it gets its power from.

The metal bar that connects them all but looks like a ground.
It looks from the wiring diagram that power goes to the front glow plug and the other 3 are connected inline.

Am I even close?

The bar should be live, its isolated from the manifold and stud by plastic isolators.
