D'oh a load of problems

- On the drivers door switch pnel there is a button with window lock written on, this locks all the windows bar the drivers door one. Make sure that's not pressed before you do anythin else mate.
- Check the brake fluid level
- it's likely that you can just replace the mast, but i don't know any more than that, i've never had to do it.
- the switch in the light unit itself could be at fault or not making contact properly?

The real problem is the windows/locks. I'm waiting to borrow a meter off my brother to check there getting power as there is no drain on the battery or noise when you press them.
Is there any sort of standard check list i should go through with this problem, seems to happen every now and then to surf owners but all suffer from different problems around it.
I can help on the aerial - Roughtrax sell a replacement mast that will feed into the existing motor www.toyotahilux.com they might sell the whole thing if it's ruined and also sell a replacement 'bee sting' style mast. I believe you get in to replace the aerial (if the whole thing does need replacing) under the wing somehow. Try searching the forum for 'aerial' and you should find something.
As Nero said on the brake light thing, check the level first. If that's OK, I think there's some kind of float sensor that's probably got stuck. Make sure your handbrake's fully off too......

Stick a post up in the general / chit chat section saying hello and pointing them all this way and they'll all come and have a look. Most prefer it up there but will have the answers for you if they can stop taking the p1ss out of each other for five minutes.
Have a look on MattF's knowledge store too:

It's useually broken wires in the door rubber connector,
as for the aeriel, if you need to replace the whole unit (which is available from roughtrax) to will need to remove the passenger lower dash, easy, a 10mm scocket and four philips screws, you should be able to reach behind the sterio and un plug the cable, then remove the near side inner wing "plastic" mud shield (a mixture of fasteners and 10mm coach type screws) un bolt the aeriel (one bolt, 10 or 12mm, cant remember) and un do the top ring, it'll then pull out and yank the cable and grommet out,
or fir a little rubber aeriel, a lot less bother than the electric,
oh!! and welcomeToo young to die and too old to give a toss
