  • Interior lights

    3 litre, 2nd gen.

The interior lights dont come on when the doors open. The front ones have only a switch for each, in for on and out for off, which work.
The one behind the sunroof dont work at all. I aint checked the cargo light yet.
So is the front one supposed to come on with doors open.
I aint checked the bulb in the middle one yet, or any fuses.

The front one should have a rocker switch in the center for door opperation,

the center one should come on with the door switches and have a slide switch on it so you can have em off, on, or working with the door,
cargo one worke the same i think, i've altered all mine so it's been a while.

Not all, the last of the 3.0 2nd Gens often don't have the door setting on the front lights, just the center one.

The center one is the same on all trucks.

I found that on mine the contacts on the switch for the centre light where a bit corroded, so it wasn't making proper contact. Gave it all a bit of a clean/rub down, and it worked fine from then on.

Something funny happened the other day. I closed my sunroof, slid the cover forwards, and my centre interior light came on, so i switched it to door. Works fine now.
