Key light

can anyone help me out?
I am trrying to locate the relay or electrical part that controls the little light on the steering column of my 4runner. (shines onto the keyhole)
The light used to fade out after about 20 seconds but now ity stays on permanantly.

Anyone know where to find thne controller for this?

I tried to find a drawing with it on to no avail. There is some sort of integration relay that links the door switches and the windows, etc but I don't know where it is.

There are a number of relays behind the kick panels in the drivers side footwell if this helps.

Thanks rich, when i find it ill let you know where it is

I had an idea to attatch two little lights in my footwell to this circuit, to make it light up when i get in
Got a burning smell from the lower drivers side and a puff of smoke. im sure ill find it soon
Think ill leave autoelectrics to the autoelectricians
