  • aux items.

    Hi all.
I would just like to know how many aux. items i can run direct from the battery via relays.
I have just changed the duff hooter to a set of air horns. They run from the horn press via a relay from the battery. I want to fit a pair of spots which will also require a feed direct from the battery via a relay.
I just wondered how many feeds I could take, should I use both batteries or if one, which one? Also should I dissconnect both batteries when working on it or is there one main one to dissconnect.
Sorry to go on but I have so many questions.

Not sure what the maximum is, but have a little look at the picture below!!!
I ran everything off one battery (the deivers side) as it was neater.
You need to disconect both batteries, easier to take both neutrals off.

The problem's aren't gonna come from having too many auxillary items wired in, it'll be from using too many high drain items at the same time or over extended periods.
