Whats This and will it stop the truck starting?

Can anyone tell me what the thing in the pictures is? Also if it is busted is it the reason my truck wont start? Is it easy to get a replacement?



I though my starter motor may be duff, but when I was trying things out and turned the ignition key this thing began to make a clicking noise and vibrate for about 10-15 seconds!

On the label it says:-

It's the glow plug relay. It may cause difficult starting if the glow plugs aren't getting power.

thanks for the info, if I replace it hopefully that should resolve it?
