  • Fuel gauge ?

Can someone advise me on wireing a fuel gauge please, it's not the surf one!
it's a seconday one for the dual tank, i've added a couple of pics if it helps, the sender/tank and gauge is land rover (sorry ) on the back of the gauge there is a + marked and an S on the opposite side and i think a neg sign under the center terminal, job to see,(which connects to the nut and bolt in the middle,) i'm assumeing these are pos, neg and sender, if thats right which wire at the sender do i use? and is the other one connected to earth? thought id better check before i summat up,
    Thanks ever so much,
    Popeye!!

Double checked and the wires from the sender and green and white, there is also a threaded bit that looks like it'd take an earth tab, connectors are just rubber push on's

does the green have a black stripe/black markings?

                If so...

hazarding a guess, i can't find a wiring diagram for a petrol LR, but found a thread on the LR4x4.com forum that suggested that at the gauge there is a green/black wire to the sender.

So at a guess green/black to the sender, white to earth.
