Power cord to top of glow plug, power in and out of thermostat, earth should be on the box or the part of the glow plug that attaches to box. Worth a try.

Here on fleabay - if you go for it SPECIFY 9/10mm hose connections the 6mm are too small.

That's probably 'cos the 3.0's use 10mm fittings/hose.

I have a similar one, as does Captain Chaos. Mine is wired to the battery, with an inline fuse, and earthed to the body. It is also switched by the ignition, wired in to the lighter, as advised by the captain.
