barrell of laughs

over the past couple of day's my ignition barrell or key is pishing me about, it's gone from a little tempramental to blood curdling grief, took me an hour of fecking aboot to get her stared this afternoon.

i've ordered a new barrell and key from the toyota main stealer and it should be here sat morn, i thought the price was good too at £42.

right, is it an arse to change? any info would be gratefully etc etc...

Hi, couldn't tell you for certain on the surf, but I changed the ign barrel on an escort years ago and it was pretty easy, the hardest part was getting the steering column covers off and on again.

had the covers off an everything, east to get too just not to sure about the barrell itself

iv changed the barrel on a mk1 mr2 and i have discovered that a surf is liek a giant mr2 in many ways in the way things are put together ect and changing the barrel was just 4 screws but because of the position of the barrel on a mr2 it was a pain in the a$$ to get to

every little helps mate, the missus is in a right strop cos she can't go shopping, that'll be my fault cos the ignition is buggered

Glad all worked out well for you thought it would be easyer to get to on the surf than the MR2 theres more room in the surf to see what your doing and get your hands in
