    just replaced my bulb(broken) for a led in my idle up switch dose anyone no if the bulbs are 12volts? didnt think about it before i done it

    heres where i got them from - http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...0bulbs&doy=1m6 they have all sorts of electric things
    the last pic it's just connected to a 12v battery
    also goin to get some bigger 1's now for the heated screen and other switch gear

    Hi you may want to fit a small resistor (around 470 Ohms) to the positive leg of the LED before fitting them - else they may go pop!! Leds are greedy and will draw more current than they can handle without a resistor in line!!
    Everyone thinks I'm paranoid!!

      Did all my switches last year, the original lighting is rubbish, some of the switches use those grain of wheat bulbs and some leds, the bulbs are 12volt,
