  • electric cooler fan

    i want to put in a manual overide switch for the electric fan infront of the radiator... does anyone know the easiest/safest way to do this and which wire do i cut the red or the blue lol any links bushwacker

    Under the thermostst housing you will find 2 sender units with wires on them, the one closest to the front of the car is the fan switch, if you pull this wire off the fan will come on so just put a switch in this wire to over ride and switch the fan on
    If it aint broke dont fix it

      cheers i thought that was the case but got a little confused when i could only find the one wire . i take it when it gets to a certain temperature it earths out and completes a circuit?

        It's a constant ground setup. Break the ground connection, fan comes on. It's a failsafe method.
