radio expander , 12v ?, buttons by door ?

I have just got my first surf a 3 ltr diesel and I was wondering how I get to the radio to fit an expander ?? is the car 12 volts with two batteries or part 24v0lt like a patrol and what ar the 2 buttons near the door in my footwell please I love my surf even more than the 4ltr Cherokee it replaced its faster and tows better pip pip onk onk pete

The electrical system is 12v.

Hi, not sure what buttons you're referring to in the footwell. The Surf has a 12v electrical system, radio isn't that hard to get out once you've done it a couple of times. As for a surf being quicker than a 4.0 cherokee?!?!?!?! I don't think so, must have been a poorly Jeep.

Thanks for the help and the cherokee was a good one but the surf pulls better I am just about to see how it likes veg oil , yhe lady at c@e said soon if you use less than 2500 litres per year it will be duty free !!!!

As has been posted many times before dont waste your money with band expander just buy a new radio

Left one = Brake
Right one = Accelerator

I have a 4lt Cherokee and no way is the Surf faster... you mus'nt have been flooring the Jeep in the right mannor
