it's to do with the current draw or something, not sure if it's the current or resistance but generally speaking if you replace a normal indicator bulb for a LED one you have to put a resistor in or buy a unit with something in to make it flash normally. Gis a minit i'll find a link, i was just lookin at a page with more information on.

this is the kinda thing you need (yes i know, it's a pair of resistors for £3) i was on a site that had them in stock and more information about it but i can't find it now. I'm sure someone will enlighten you. If not i'll have another look for it later.

No probs. PM me your address. What wattage are the original bulbs that those LED units are replacing, BTW? Do you want me to put flyleads on these for you, and if so, how much cable do you want on 'em?

Yup, you did, Mark. Should hopefully be popping them in the post in the morning for you. When I manage to get hold of an old flasher relay, gonna' see if I can make an electronic flasher unit up for you, but the resistors will get you up and running for the moment. Had a bugger of a time putting the heatshrink on. The wife has only gone and knackered my hairdryer and not bothered telling me. So if some of the heatshrink looks a bit strange, blame the wife. Ended up using the fag lighter and soldering iron to get it shrunk.
