another rear window question

I know its another Q about the rear window but this is slightly differant.
i was asked about fitting another switch to operate the rear window but have it wired so you don't need the ignition on.It will be put in the boot area so if he was sleeping in the surf he could just flick the switch to lower the rear window without having the keys in the ignition.Any thoughts on the best way to wire in a switch for it please

Well you don't need the ignition on to operate it with the key so all you need to do is trace the three relevant wires from the keyswitch back inside the car and connect a switch across them in the same configuration as the keyswitch.
You will need a single pole double throw switch which returns to the centre position.
