  • Clock Illumination?

    My wife has a 1993 KZN130 Auto and I have a 1995 KZN130 Manual.

I noticed that when her ignition is turned off the clock illumination is also off, but on mine the clock light stays on.

Is this just a difference in models or is one of them not working correctly?

Thanks in advance for any advice given.

Well, on both my '92 LN130, and '95 KZN130 (both auto) the clock illumination goes off with the ignition.

Sounds like yours may have had some subtle rewiring

            Hi m8

It should go off when the ign is off, although it might be nice to tell the time without the ign key in, it'll drain your batteries.

Might be that someone has had the dash out (change radio perhaps) and wired the clock illum to perm live rasther than switched, should be easy to change back

            hope this helps
