or you could just mount the whole of the bog standard Fog Light from halfords on the bumper. just drill 3 holes, 2 to hold the back of the fog light cover on [bolt from the inside of the fog light and nuts on the back of the bumper] and one for the wiring.

worked so far for me, and so much easier than cutting away part of the bumper

Such a common down to earth method. Did mine this way. Not off-roading friendly, but looks nice and has room for a few more bits on the bar.

Somewhen this year I'm going to order some more units to finish off my additional sidelights.
