Tailgate Window Fault

Hi, have just recently bought a 1995 3.0 ltr SSRX Ltd and seem to be having a slight problem with the tailgate window. It does go up and down but
can be very temperamental about the speed in which it does this, have looked at the workings and can't see anything obviously wrong, the motor appears to be working o.k. Any suggestions?????

try lubing the runners with silicone lube.

had a problem similar to this on my 1st gen it all seemed ok but it turned out to be the motor. It would go up so far and stop or would'nt go down had to use rubber gloves and push it up (the window that is) anyway it was partially siezed ,pulled it apart ,cleaned and greased right as ninepence. mind you its designed not to come apart but where thiers a will and all that
