Having gone rebuilt my engine, ie, new head, water pump, rad, hoses, stat, etc is it worth fitting a more accurate water temp gauge.I thought about a TIM gauge to sit next to my Turbo boost gauge on the pillar.Reason being when it blew the rad apart (head cracked) the temp did not budge from normal.I think it could have prevented extra costs. Thanks in advance.AL

I have one fitted, but i'm beginning to wish i hadn't as I'm now becoming paranoid about the temps.
Iv'e seen 113 degrees on the linear gauge and the Toyota one didn't move until 111 degrees!!! It probably could save you from another disaster but you gotta get used to driving with one eyeball attached to it!
