battery ?

if one of my batteries ( 92 2.4 ) is dead would it make my electrics go crazy ?
it wouldnt start yesterday so i jumped it got it running , but all the electrics are going mad e.g. dials working then not working no stereo slow wipers , is this normal symptoms or is it worse than just a new battery or two . thanks in advance

when one of my batteries went acouple of weeks ago i had to change both because the flat one takes all the power of the good one .dissconect one battery and do a test on them.

it looks like the alternator belts are slack , and slipping so its failing to charge

tighten the belts and then disconnect both batteries for 30 mins to give the ECU a labotomy.
