Hot Motor

Have a 2.4 turbo diesel.The motor does not overheat or boil but it gets that hot if you touch the batterys you could burn your fingers.Has anyone got any idea how to get more air around the motor to try to cool things down abit.Thank you.

Take the bonnet off, sorry.

What about a bonnet scoop, will need a bit of cutting, spraying etc but its been done.
Replace standard fan with electrical fan and run it when in slow traffic or run it all the time.
As a rule these motors do run very hot.
