        Is it a 3rd Gen?
        Does it have airbags?
Could it be a switch to not set the passenger airbag off if there's no passenger?
        It just does, OK?

Or for when a baby seat is installed. We have a switch on the passenger door in the Clio, it's activated/deactivated with the ignition key.
