problem dashboard light

I have British built 4runner 3.0 TD and there is a small light on the rev counter which is premanetly on. The light used to come on for a couple of minutes every so often, but today it stayed. The symbol under the light looks like a fan wheel with 2 curved lines which look like flow lines, around the outside. Please could some let me know the problem or the cause of the problem so I can sort it out tomorrow.

At a wild guess... considering its on the rev counter.. could it be a turbo light..

From what I read of the problem "The symbol under the light looks like a fan wheel with 2 curved lines which look like flow lines, around the outside" are we not talking of the Brake warning light ?

If so you have a problem with 1, 2 or all 3 of the following:

1) Brake Fluid
2) Brake Pads
3) Brake Disks

ps as far as I am aware there is NO turbo light on a 3 litre

I have included a picture of the problem warning light. I have tried all the suggestions a aprt from the brakes which I am having checked tomorrow

It looks like an impeller or turbine, so to me that means turbo.

HAS to be turbo. NO WAY its brakes. It looks like a turbo therefore it is TURBO
