please help| sometimes when i try to start my surf 3ltr td nothing happens but if i leave it for an hour or so it starts up fine any ideas?>

it could be the inhibitor switch on the gearbox next time it wont start try moving the gear lever up and down the selector and try to start then dont forget to push down the red button so that you can move the gear lever i hope this is of some help
