Weird aerials on roof

I am importing a July 1999 Surf 3.0L TD intercooler, expected end of August. The picture of it shows some odd-looking aerials on the roof. Does anyone know what they are - and whether I should try to keep them?

Also, does anyone know what lights this version has, front and back?

Could be TV antennas for the in-dash monitor that 3rd gens have.

or the truck runs on electric from overhead power cables!

Deffinatly tv arials. I had them on mine, they are no good over here cos the tv works on a different phase.

Almost a dead ringeer for my Surf. TV ariels for sure, had them on mine too.

The lights, if like mine, are what they call crystal glass, pretty nice they are too.

Algy's Autos

I did it as a direct import but Algy's found it for me and had a check over it. It left Yokohama on 5 July and docks at Bristol today. I gave them a £10K limit on the road - at auction in Japan it went for £6.5K. Rest is import duty, VAT, shipping cost, SVA, MOT, etc. Should come under the limit. It's a 1999 SSR-G, 3.0L TDI auto. Interestingly, they took out some things like the CD and EMS and posted them separately, in case they were pinched in transit.

I haven't even seen it yet.
