When mine decided that my truck was being nicked (by me putting a screw through a wire), all the AA could do was take it the the shop that installed it.
So I'd say it depended on what model was fitted, how it was fitted, and how much you know.

Hi its should not cost you to much to have it removed I normally charge about £30 for a mobile removal, but Peterborough is way to far for me.
