does the ariel work

im fitting my new stereo with a iso connector to my 96 surf does the ariel still work or do i need to connect a wire somewhere help

It works for me

I went to Halfords Boxing Day, bought a connector lead for a Toyota, a JVC CD/Tuner, walked out to the Surf and plugged it all in to test it. The radio ariel went up as soon as I turned it all on.

Did you wire it all up or buy a connector, and have you plugged the ariel into the unit?

Beyond that, maybe your electric ariel is shafted, or a fuse has blown, or there is a loose connection somewhere?

i asked before i put it in cos id read on here someones didnt work ive got the jvc one from halfords as well silver front lights up blueeee just fitted it easy easiest one ive ever done it works brill cheers m8
