Yup
I bought a UK Sony 1Din. Went to Halfords got a cross over harness(£15). Plugged one end into The Beast's harness and the other end into Sony harness. Every thing works. Fade l-r, Balance f-r. If memory serves me correct it is a universal for all Toyotas of the early '90's

well thanks for all the help lads but it turned out to be the law of sod at work. got the radio in and working for a couple of weeks and me surfs been wrote off by joy riders in an escort so am on the look out for another 2.4 in the north west if anyone knows where a good place is to get one?
