A/TP indicator ?

I have a 96 ssrg ,To the right hand side of the fuel guage, a red indicator
sign saying " A/TP " lights up every now and then.

Could someone please advise what this means.I have a hunch it has
something to do with 4wd activation.

Could be that your auto transmision fluid needs topping up?

I think its a warning that your transmission lever (P R N D L) is in neutral, AND your Hi/lo ratio lever is also in neutral...

Dave's right, it tells you the T/case in neutral. Why do you need to know this? well with the T/case not in gear, putting the autobox in Park won't stop you rolling down a hill.



If its coming on now and again, and you not doing anything, your probably have a dodgy indicator switch.

My indicator light has never come on 'cos I regularly check my ATF level.
