european (french) headlights?

I need euro headlights for my LN130 2nd gen surf ssrx 2.4D. Any ideas. I am in 56 Ploermel. I am now off the road as it has taken me 18 months so far to get a certificate of non conformity from toyota which the prefecture duly dismissed. Got no hair left so i scratch bare head. Please help.

Hi.
We can get stickers in the uk to convert headlights for use on the continent from any caravan dealer.

I have never used them but they fix to the lense to alter the pattern of the beam.

Look on UK caravan site dealers websites and you will find them I am sure.

Try US Toyota dealer websites as they should have correct headlights as they drive on the wrong side as well.

Depends on which headlights you have. If you have the later flush fitting "aero" ones, then you will need a set for a LHD 4Runner, however if you have the earlier reccessed ones than ones from similar aged LHD hilux pick-ups should fit, and be a lot easier to obtain.

I have some!!

Bit of a long story, but I ended up buying a pair of flashy super powerful headlights for the Surf...but could never get the beams right.

Went for the MOT on 20 Jan 06 and it failed...the new units are for Europe not the UK!

So, I am currently taking the issue up with the dealer that fitted them as I now have a Surf with no MOT, useless lights and I sold the originals so I can't fit them. I will also have to pay for another MOT!

Ebay Ref no 4606836967 , it has a pic of the lights on there.
