Rear Window Motor.........Again

Hiyas, any chance of you lot naming names of specific cars and years, of which motor is a direct donor for our beloved 4runners/hilux's? I've seen in here that a carina and a corona will do, but a decent s****py nearby reckons a corolla is different, and a carina front and rears are different. I know it has to be a left handed motor, but the one I have just taken out of my N reg 4runner doesnt have any part number on it.

Also, any one know of where I can get a cheap (ish although reasonable) rear silencer from? (3.0 TD thingy)

I was under the impression that a passenger side motor from a corolla would fit....I'm sure there are threads on here that do mention this, try the search facility M8.....

you are right the corolla passenger side will fit.i never had any luck down here with the scra pyards when mine went so had to get one from nippon car spares in london £52 all in
