  • Connection Points For My Alarm

    Hi all,

Looks like this might be the weekend to do the wiring stuff in the Surf...

So far, tow bar & alarm... and maybe fix a few niggles on the way.

So I need to identify the following points for the alarm:

12v feed from footbrake switch to brakelights
    ACC live on ignition switch
12v lock / unlock trigger wires on the central lock switch in the drivers door.

I know I can eventually find all this myself.... but hey this is what the forums for aint it ? Any of you guys & gals out there know which wires I want or even have pictures / wiring diags for the mk2 Surf ?

    Thanks

    Jim

Doing the same with mine this weekend.
      Hope this helps.
Please check this info against your vehicle first as I have seen variations. Book I have shows lock/unlock wires to be red or blue with stripe, mine are red with white and red with yellow stripe. !!
