  • Rear Passenger Courtesy Light

    Hi All,

Brand new owner of aproximatly 9hrs (1996 3rd Gen SSRG 3.0 Automatic) and cannot wait to get some miles under my belt.
Did notice this evening though that my Rear Passenger Courtesy light is not working. I am guessing it is probably the bulb as it does not work with the switch in any position and was just wondering as I have no Owners Manual yet how the assembly dismantles to change the bulb, does the lense pop off or do I need to lever the whole assembly down ? Being a bit of a heavy handed p*** I thought it prudent to get advice first and having spent the past three evenings browsing this Forum I feel there is no better place to ask.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Paul

It just clips off. However mine is like that. I took the bulb out and the bulb is fine. So there's still no light in the back.

So if you figure out what else causes it let me know.

Light doesn't work in my 2.4 either.
      It's only a hobby!

take the cover off and rub down all the terminals in the switch .. it is normally a bad contact
