    Hello out there,

I wonder if you can help my brother and myself both have surfs, he has a headlight bulb blown and needs to change it. We looked under bonnet and unlike the rear lights this looks much harder. My question, is there a simple method and how do you change it. You guys have been a great help in the past.
    Hope you can help.

I tend to do it via loosening the battery and moving back (cant do this on my new ones they are so big!), then remove washer bottle or overflow tank and if pass side the front air filter pipe then you can access the back of the light.
Not the most simple of changes.

I go in from the front.
remove both side light units ( two screws and pull forward)
remove the front grill assy ( little push down clip retainers about 8 of them)
      unbolt headlamp housing (three bolts)
i have just changed my lamps to blue +50% brighter - took about twenty minutes in the cold dark wet .
      Everyone thinks I'm paranoid!!

I would agree on front. Except now i've mounted some spots in the way, and need to go back in to do the uprated loom.
