  • Extracting the CD/TV/Nav system!

    Hi All

My CD's bust which is all I use out the system above - any idea how I get the unit out of the dash (in one piece without smahing the dash :o) - does anyone sense my frustration here!). Alsi does anyone know that if I disconnect it from the power whether their will be one of those annoying activation codes? It's a toyota unit, probably standard with teh car which is a 96 3.0 TD SSRX.

    Thanks in advance

    Vinny

PS Does anyone know a specialist servcie agent who will really service this - not just wash it and charge me £300!

yep goto http://www.showmesome.info/hilux/ for the dash out job and try www.4x4toys.co.uk (TONYN from here) for servicing or see if someone else in your area has been recommended.

For a 3rd Gen radio change information try -
      http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/forums/sh...=radio+3rd+gen

For good, honest servicing contact TonyN in Basingstoke. He did a full service on my 3rd Gen last April - highly recommended.
