    Hi can anybody help I have two problems with my 1994 3.0liter surf
    Problem 1
    It started by me loosing my oil/temp light and the rest when I put my ignition on to start the car, if I press the buttons separately the light come on,
    Problem 2
    My Alternator didn’t seem to be charging the batteries, I thought it was Alternator so got it reckoned but I still got the problem
    Alternator is intermit on when it chargers it might charge for 5 minutes or it might charge all day can any one help as at this moment I am lost

    have had the batteries checked ?

        check your alt output on batteries with engine running - clean all terminals and WD40 or vaseline them - sounds to me the diode could be playing up the guys that reconned the alternater should be able to diagnose and if the recon was recent they should fix it FOC!
        Did I mention I have a BLUE one

          Thanks for all help but ended up it needed new Alternator every thing working good now I can play again thanks again ladies and gents

            As an aside, you can fit a larger internal to the alternator to bump its output a bit... (quite a bit actually) but always check that you have the appropriately sized regulator... Which may have been the case with your original alternator all along.
