glow plug timer

i think that this is located on the drivers side below the interior fuse box?
can someone confirm this please.

i am trying to rewire the glow plug circuit the haynes manual i have is ok but are there better wiring diagrams produced .

On a 2.4 T/D the timer is on theleft inner wing by the air filter

Can the timer be altered to give a couple of seconds more glow?

Dunno, but you just turn the key off when the light goes off, and switch on and wait again.

Shouldn't need to if everything is working fine.
