Lights on gear selector

Is the bottom of the gear selector, the actual "P R N D 2 1" bit, on the centre consol supposed to be back lit for night time? If so how easy is it to replace the bulb?

Yes Rab should be back lit. Just pop the trim off the top and the lamp is underneath. Think its a small 5w bayonet jobbie from what I can remember.
