Drivers door window switch

Hi, My window switch on drivers door will not work, i have just replaced it thinking it was faulty but still no joy, the mirror switch and the door lock switches all work ok as do the the window switches on the other doors, does anyone have any ideas ?, thanks.

check wires in as they go from the door through to the front panel, the are in a big rubberish sleeve. As the door constantly opens & closes the wires will break, had both rear window wires break so far.
