4wd light on instrument panel

hi chaps another question for yous to sort out.when i engage 4wd (on slippery serface of course)the 4wd engages but the light on the dash dosnt come on iv had the dash out and the bulb is ok,all fuses are ok to.any ideas would be greatly welcomed

how do you know the 4 wheel drive is engaged? have you determined for sure that drive is going to the front from the t-case

yes the 4wd is definately working its just the light that isnt

Check all cable connectors and the cable itself for a break, also poss: earth fault... if they all func ok + good earth plus checks already done by you, can only be sender fault (4wd system) . old saying - the more advice - the more confusion... do you really need this yeah ? ok forget I said that
