  • Dynamo to Alternator Convertion

Converting my mates motor from Dynamo to Alternator and having a bit of trouble working out what nees to be done.

I have a feed that goes straight to the battery from the Alternator, but not sure which terminal the +12volt sense should go to.

    I have a choice of 3 terminals
    N at 8.6 M ohmes
    F at 7.4 ohmes
    E is shorted to ground.

Any top tips received with thanks.

The vechicle is an Elva kit car based on an MG from the 50's

The altinator is from a modern car (not sure what) terminals are on the back of the alternator its self, where a modern 3 pin jack would fit.
