how the hell????

we all know the rear window electrics is hidden at the back between rear nearside pocket and taillights OR we should do by now after all the searching i done on here today
now can someone tell me how the ???? you get the fasia off that side to access it when the !!!!!! tailgate and window is closed as mine wont open
still got rear nearside window to fix yet too as thats all come adrift too getting close to saying ******** and go up the pub now

is there a way to get the window down manually so one can work on the problem in more comfort?????

ok an update
resisted the pub option but in doing so
got the rear passenger door fixed and squared away
and now swapping wires to the tailgate window motor can up and down the window now to save me searching the forum yet again

WOT does this mean?? window WILL go up ok
BUT not down untill i switch the motor wires over

any pointers welcome please as its been a long day and my backs killing from being in back most of the day with sun beating down

Sounds like a relay problem - have a look at the attachment.

May be possible to access the motor connections in the tailgate and and apply 12v direct to drop the window

May also be possible to fit a change-over type switch to bypass the relays but best to have a word with an auto electrician
