Help: cutting off

91 hilux diesel-2.4 LN130 cuts off while driving. instant restart....may cut off twice or three times per day. once...as soon as I restarted and put my foot on the brakes...the charging unit showed a lowering of power and I cut off.. any ideas...thanks m8s

Hard to diagnose but what you say points to a possible major electrical short/open circuit causing the ignition system to cut-out - first thing to check should be the battery connections and all the major earths around the engine compartment
