What are these?

I am just wondering what these wires do for the rear window as when I serviced it the other day I found them - you can see the other bit at the bottom they used to connect to. The window works perfectly on the key or the switch.

I found the ones on the left in my truck a couple of weeks ago as well, thought it might have something to do wiht the heated window, as mine has never worked. I`ve found loads of wires in mine all over the place, so finding another was no big problem as everything works bar the heated window.

They look like the door latch switches, the window won't work untill both latches are closed, if the latch switch is buggered, they probably just disconnected it to make the window work.
