  • Factory 12 stack CD player - error 3

When trying to play CDs on my Toyota 12 stack CD player it often comes up with error 3 and won't play that particular CD. I don't have a manual for it so any ideas what this means? Cheers

In plain terms it means dump it and fit a UK spec stereo.
Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.

It all depends on the quality of the stereo and where you live, I have no problems with mine fitted with a band expander, the only time it goes of track is when I go up north, and then I have Cd Md and Cassette to play with.

It could be just a loose connection, I have a similar problem on SMOOTH roads! the constant shakening on normal roads means it constantly reconnects the broken ends of the wire I still havent found the bad connection YET. AS for error mesages my System is all in Japenese so I may Be getting error messages.

If it is always the SAME cd even when stationary it could be just a bad/ scratched disk is it a copy?
