power doorlocks

does anyone knows how to install an actuator for a manual doorlocks to have power doorlocks? if theres a procedure to hook it up would be a big help. thanks!

You'll find there is a slim metal rod running from the switch to the lock, your actuator will have come with a similar rod and clamp to attach your actuator rod to the locking rod, there should also be a bracket to screw the motor to and to the door. I've installed these on my Surf to give me central locking, took about an afternoon to do all four doors.

Any probs repost and I'll try to help further. You'll have to attach the front door motors differently to the rear due to the installation. I seem to remember having to wire them to work the opposite way round also because of this. I'm a technical biff and managed it in the end though so I recommend getting the door card off and everything will seem clear.
