  • Clock not working

    Wonder if anyone can help......

My clock's dead. Only just got the Surf, and want to get it working really. Surprising how much of a pain it is not having it!!!

I've taken the dash apart (was actually changing the stereo, but took the opportunity...), and checked the plug on the back of the clock.

There are four wires. One is a permanent live, one becomes live when the lights are on (presumably to dim the display?) one will obviously be an eatrh, and I assume the other one is an ignition live, to bring up the display.

I don't think this ignition live is coming on. Anyone any idea on where it might be fed from?? Is anything else likely to be fed via this ignition live??

    Anyone got a worshop manual, with electrical diagrams?? It's a 1992 2.4TD ssr-x.

    Thanks for any help!!

    Dave
    It just does, OK?

    Sorted!!!

    Got it done now!

Found the Cigarette lighter didn't work either, and the clock and the lighter are on the same circuit. I guess the previous owner had overloaded the circuit.

New fuse fitted, and I've got me clock back!!!!!
    It just does, OK?
