  • Battery chargers?

Sorry but this is not purely a Hilux question.....

Simple really - I'm looking for a battery charger/maintainer. For each of the m/bikes I store I have a charger called an Optimate. These basically charge the battery as necessary and then keep them in maintenance mode whilst still connected to the bike. They can be left on permanently without damaging the battery/bike. I also have a couple of cars so I'm looking for something similar along the car charger/maintainer route as it can be months at a time before I even look at them.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers.
Everything's easy, when you know how!

    Battery Charger

I have an Oxford Optimiser battery charger/maintainer, similar to your Optimate, which I use primarily to keep the motorbike batteries topped up in winter, particularly with an alarm fitted, but in the summer when the bikes are used more I also use it to top up/maintain a caravan leisure battery and a spare heavy duty battery for my wifes Diahatsu Fourtrak with no problems.
