Demister

I have noticed that there is very little airflow out of my demister vents because this setting also opens the footwell vents!
When I select footwell only the footwell vents sometimes close!
The other selections seem to do as they should. Is there an electronic controller that has lost the plot or might it be an electro-mechanical problem?? Any help appreciated.

Yours is doing the same as mine used to do. Following reading the results of a search on this site I reached down by the drivers footwell and found the plastic bits that open and close the vents, I then moved them round until I got air going on the screen only. This means that at the moment I only have the option of air on the screen, but it demists quickly. When the wet damp weather lessens a bit I'll try for a more permenemt fix.
